Offer of business spaces and commercial lands

Maribor- Podravje

The development agency of Maribor is preparing a common web offer of available business spaces and lands in Podravje. Main purpose of building up this data base of business spaces and commercial lands, being supported by the municipality of Maribor, lies in attracting home and foreign investors to the region.

The base establishment is taking place as a part of the project City network Graz – Maribor. Project is being co-founded from the European found for regional development, included into the cross-border program Slovenia-Austria 2007-2013. Places in this project are being held by municipality of Maribor as the leading partner, the city Graz and Regionalmanagement Graz und Graz Umgebung, being project partners.

Projects main goal is being focused on establishing connections between both city administrations, institualizaiton and ensurance of continuity already established relationships on the political as well as on the administrative levels. Contents of the project are being related on:  »environment and mobility«, »green spaces and green nets« and »economy and city development«. As parts of this project are predicted studies, development plans, pilot cases, which will serve as a encouragment for further development of projects.
